Jim Darling Award Night 2022!

This year's recipient is Paul Skeels, a recognized expert in the industry! For over 70 years Lakeshore Carpet Cleaners continues to service hundreds of commercial clients and thousands of residential customers every year. Paul was the past President of the Ontario Professional Carpet Cleaners Association, Floorcovering Institute of Ontario now known as Canadian Flooring, Cleaning & Restoration Association and the National Floor Covering Association of Canada.

In the early 1960’s Lakeshore was one of the first companies in Ontario to purchase high powered truck mounted cleaning units. Since owning the company Paul Skeels has made an ongoing commitment to provide Lakeshore’s customers with state-of-the-art cleaning methods and technology. This is achieved by being a long-time member of three key industry trade associations (ASCR, IICRC and FIO) that offer ongoing training and certification programs. In 2000 Paul purchased Camel Oriental Rug Cleaners and moved the company to its new 5,000 square foot cleaning plant in Oakville.In 2008, Lakeshore Cleaning & Restoration was honored to be recognized as the FIO’s Carpet Cleaning Company of the year. In Nov 2020, Lakeshore partnered with CINTAS, purchased three of their large cleaning trucks and now provides their existing clients with deep steam cleaning carpet, tile, upholstery, vinyl tile and coil cleaning services. Lakeshore continues to refer their clients to CINTAS for mat services.
